To acquire or maintain this Lifestyle, explore dangerous locales, get into fights, woohoo outside, work in a dangerous career, and seek out excitement in all its forms! Just be sure to avoid the mundane. There’s so much to talk about how these Lifestyles impact your everyday life and how Sims’ everyday activities get impacted by them. I would say it's worth it.Lifestyles are much more powerful compared to traits as they give really strong buffs to your Sim – both positive and negative depending on if they’re following their Lifestyle correctly or not. That's how I can tell if something holds its value in my gameplay. I will add that I play many different households and when I get a new pack I incorporate it into my gameplay as normal, I don't try to rush through it with cheats to see everything. This pack feels like a proper expansion to me and has potential longevity because it takes time to complete the activities, as it should. The general simulation of the activities is good and fun for screenshots, with new entertaining animations. The hot pot and low table are actually really nice and Sims use it pretty well, with only a little bit of musical chairs (in my experience). I still don't really have the hang of lifestyles yet, they are something that takes a while to build up. The hot springs fit a lot of Sims and I like them more than I expected for something so similar to hot tubs. I have seen two of the festivals (meh, but nice for neighborhood liveliness) played around on the Bunny Slope, only used the large slopes once and couldn't go mountain climbing because my Sims need skills, so that whole area needs to be explored. The hiking has many paths in different areas to be explored, much more than I thought. But I haven't found anything game breaking, just little annoyances.Īs for gameplay being worth it, I've had two households go on vacation for three days each and still have not come close to having maxed out any sports skills or seen everything. Sims games in particular have potential to get buggier the more DLC you add. There will be some bugs, they come with every pack. Once I checked my firewall and cleared Origin cache and updated, my game ran super smooth. But I do tend to make the best of a pack for my own gameplay, so I got it in release day.Īny real issues I had were due to Origin and Windows, not the game itself. So, the theme isn't something I cared much about to begin with, and I felt pretty neutral about it.
